Stephen Nebzydoski, 44, of Pleasant Mount died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 19.
Born December 14, 1979, in Carbondale, he is the son of Michael and Margaret “Peg” Rickard Nebzydoski, Pleasant Mount. Stephen was a 1998 graduate of Forest City Regional High School, Paul Smith's College, and attended Penn State University. He was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish. A carpenter by trade, he was employed by Knect's General Contracting, Waymart. Stephen was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing baseball, the Boston Red Sox and the family farm. Stephen was an avid reader and his quick wit made for lively debates with his brothers. He always shared a unique and close relationship with his sister.
Also surviving are the love of his life, daughter Charlotte Ann Nebzydoski; brothers Matthew Nebzydoski and wife Angie, Montrose; Peter Nebzydoski and wife Wendy, Bethlehem; a sister Ann Diehl and husband Ryan, Pleasant Mount; a companion Jessica Tuttle; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends including David Haynes; and Ralph and Mary Ann Bensing.
He is preceded in death by a brother Mike Nebzydoski and nephews baby Michael and baby Matthew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at noon in St. James Church, Pleasant Mount. For those attending Mass, please go directly to the church. Interment in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 7pm in the Kevin M. Lesjack Funeral Home, 513 Main Street, Forest City.
